We have been involved with German Shepherds for over 20 years and love the breed. It all started out in the obedience ring, when we both became chief instructors at the Engadine Branch and then moved onto showing and breeding German Shepherds, a passion which we still have today. Though we do not breed as much as when we first started out, Vladimir German Shepherds still remain a quality kennel. Grant is also a tattoo officer with the GSDL.

Breeding quality, not quantity

Vladimir kennels are breeders of champions in the specialty ring and also the all-breeds ring. We are a small, successful kennel trying to improve the breed. We dedicate ourselves to breeding with sound dogs, and finding suitable, loving homes for our puppies, doing everything in our power to make sure that our puppies have a safe and happy environment to live and grow. 

All of our dogs have passed the GSDCA breeding schemes, which include Hip dysplasia and Elbow dysplasia screening. We breed only with sound dogs, sound in mind and body. This ensures family's that our dogs are of the highest quality in all aspects. We have been awarded the bronze & silver medallion for excellence in hip and elbows.

Our passion, is also one shared by our son. Kurt participates in all areas within our hobby including handling, breeding and photography.
